Sales Manager Position

Ithaca Beer Co., founded in 1998 in Ithaca, NY, is looking for an energetic person with craft beer passion to join the Ithaca Beer team and help the company grow from microbrewery to regional craft brewery.  The Sales Manager is responsible for leading a team of sales people to grow Ithaca Beer in existing markets and expanding into new territory.

Responsibilities Include:
– Work with Exec. team to compile annual production and budget plan based on sales forecasts
– Communicate with Production and Brewing departments to ensure execution of the plan
– Manage monthly wholesale orders tracking sales and inventory reports
– Work with executive team to incentivize salespeople and wholesalers
– Manage sales teams in the execution of area specific sales and incentive programs
– Coordinate sales programs across sales territory with all wholesale partners
– Manage chain and key accounts
– Involved in hiring of sales people
– Manage POS for Company branding and awareness
– Work with Marketing & Creative departments to coordinate timely release of information to wholesale partners, to retail accounts, and to customers
– Work with Marketing and Creative departments to create new product ideas and designs with input of territory knowledge
– Monitor current trends in the market and report them to the executive team
– Communicate sales related information to the staff, wholesalers and customers

Skills and Experience:
– 5+ years sales experience or sales management experience preferred
– Proven sales track record
– Excellent Communications skills
– High Degree of professionalism
– Team player mentality with team leadership qualities
– Motivator
– Flexible schedule
– Regular travel throughout sales territory
