Excelsior! Anniversary Fifteen

Dark Rye Ale

Inspired by the rye beers of southern Germany, we created this mischievously potent brew using an intriguing combination of pale and rye malts, a traditional GermanĀ  ale yeast, a New Zealand hops.The result is an assertive dark copper-brown ale with a full-bodied malt backbone and elegant notes of clove and spice. The finish is bracing with a sharp spiciness that parallels a gentle hint of tropical fruit.
ABV: 8.4 %
Malt: 2-Row Pale, Flaked Rye, Crystal Rye, Caramunich, Black Wheat
Hops: Chinook, Centennial, Motueka

Blueberry Sour Ale

Brewed with New York State Blueberries and Brettanomyces, 2012 Le Bleu is a blend of barrels filled in 2010 and 2011. It’s finished in the bottle with Champagne yeast.Enjoy the dusty rose appearance, mouthwatering aroma of ripe berries, piquant flavor and quick finish.

Strong Rye Ale

A robust American ale brewed with four different rye malts and fresh centennial and crystal hops. It is partly fermented in Kentucky Rye Whiskey barrels then carefully blended. Enjoy the gorgeous ruby color, strong aromas of vanilla and black cherry, earthy flavors of nuts and oak and the warm, spicy finish.
ABV: 9.0 %
Malt: Maris Otter, Rye, Crystal Rye, Chocolate Rye
Hops: Centennial, Crystal
Other: Aged in Rittenhouse Rye whiskey barrels from Heaven Hill.

Golden Sour Ale

Brewed with vintage local hops, American Barley, Wheat and Corn, Brute is fermented on Oak for many months with Brettanomyces, then finished with a blend of three Champagne yeasts. Enjoy the turbid citron hue, mature aroma, brash tartness and dry, quenching sparkle.
